Dear Friend,
Since 2010 Us TOO International has been a supporter of My Prostate Cancer Roadmap, the educational resource for men with advanced prostate cancer and those who love them.
We are very excited to hear that Grammy®-nominated R&B singer, songwriter, producer, and prostate cancer survivor Charlie Wilson has teamed up with Janssen Biotech, Inc. to launch Making Awareness a Priority (M.A.P.), an educational program intended to raise awareness about prostate cancer and its disproportionate impact on African-American men compared to men of any other race in the U.S.
Help us put prostate cancer on the M.A.P. by registering for the Chicago event or simply to receive updates. Hear Charlie Wilson share his story, meet Andrea King Collier, author of The Black Woman’s Guide to Black Men’s Health, and learn more about prostate cancer risk factors and other factors that may impact you.
Event Details:
Chicago, IL Date: Saturday, July 28, 2012 Time: 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. Location: Trinity United Church of Christ, 400 West 95th Street, Chicago, IL 60628
Please share this email with others who may find it helpful.
