Father's Day weekend is once again upon us. During your Father's Day celebration, take a moment to get serious with dad. Encourage him and the other important men in your life to have a discussion with their doctor about prostate cancer – a critical but simple step toward early detection and effective treatment, if necessary.

At times like this I think about my own father, and my wife Margaret's father - both who are no longer living. Margaret's father, Carl Counts, died way too young because prostate cancer ended his life prematurely. It doesn't have to be that way for others.
